This year it was decided our family needed a lot of laughter after all we have been through with my Mom and various other events. So I came up with the idea of Crazy Christmas Hats in place of the Choose & Loose game we have participated in for years. I had to give a little Pep Talk prior to the passing out of bags with various hats within. My family rallied and in fact, LOVED the new venue. I am not calling it a game because so many people HATE GAMES :-).
Below are some of the pictures.
Okay, I'll go first!
The hat that was within my selected bag was an Elf Hat; big ears, red and green stripes. I think I rocked this hat, don't you?
Herrrrrreeee's Johnny!
My husband selected a flashing reindeer hat. I think it suits him. I have seen this same gleeful smile on his face of childhood pictures of him, so I'd say "He Liked It!" LOL! This picture makes him look like he's missing a tooth, or two. They are all there!
My mother drew a feminine Froggy Hat. All I can say is "Wow!"
My niece's husband, Dave, was a good sport. He also donned a version of reindeer ears!
My gorgeous niece, Reanne, really made this hat look good!
She would look good in anything!!
Thirteen-year-old Jordyn sported an Angry Bird hat. Yay Jordyn!
Ten-year old Kyla was mortified with the hat she choose. The rest of us LOVED it, especially on her! ;-)
This is my handsome nephew, Ben. He truly brought out the best in this Elf hat! He, like my niece, doesn't look bad in anything!!
A prize was given for the BEST SPORT of the game. It was unanimously decided that Matthew, my nephew should be given that award! Bet he's thrilled with that honor! He donned a Santa (the whole Santa) hat. Don't you love his mischievous smile?
Because I value my life, I am not featuring large head shots of those who would end my life or fail to give me future computer assistance, therefore, here's a group shot! He, He, he!
I promise, a good time was had by all!
They even want to do it next year, where everyone brings their own Crazy Christmas Hat to exchange! I'm looking forward to that! ;-)
Love this pic!
A match made in Heaven!
Woo Hoo! The name of the game IS...CRAZY!
Have you ever noticed when you see pictures people have taken of animals in costumes, none of the pets look happy?
Well, these specimens ALL looked happy and were all really good sports!
Thanks family!! XOXOX
