The temperature settings are not exact but only has buttons that go from 100, 150, then jumps to 275 before increasing in 25 deg increments so I had to adapt. She got the...Mom used to make these many years ago. She got the recipe from a newspaper. It was an all day affair due to the baking time (and quantities she made). No food processors then so the chocolate had to be ground in a meat grinder alternating small handfuls of nuts & chocolate at a time as the chocolate would jam up the grinder without the nut oils to lube the worm. Moms gone now & I have not made them for a long time but I’m going to try with the food processor. They truly are the best cookie I ever tasted.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
